East Liberty has been through its share of ups and downs. But thanks in part to East Liberty Development, Inc. (ELDI), the once-vital Pittsburgh business district is currently experiencing a revitalization.

Though helping to bring stabilizing businesses such as Whole Foods and Target to the under-served community is what ELDI does, what they wanted most was a website that would keep them in touch with the people of their community, as well as promote the value of East Liberty to outsiders.

Bearded helped ELDI work through the variety of ideas and concerns they had about their image and place in the community. We determined that their primary function on the web is to connect East Liberty residents with community resources, educate newcomers about the value of neighborhood, and inform visitors about the important work ELDI is doing in the community.

Their new website is built on the Drupal content management system, allowing them and their community partners to update site content as appropriate.
